Two revered bass music collectives in Helsinki team up for a long-awaited collaborative event! The crews are accompanied by a living legend of Finnish dance music: DJ ALIMO of the world famous BEATS AND STYLES delivering a rare vinyl set of 90s jungle & dnb!

Before embarking on his mainstream career as one half of Beats & Styles, DJ Alimo made impactful contributions to the local DNB scene of the 1990s. He ran Bassment, one of the first exclusively jungle/dnb events in Finland. Bassment happened on Thursdays at a venue called Stonewall in the heart of Helsinki city. Despite happening on a weekday, the club always drew an ethusiastic crowd. He also brought in UK deejays as part of the Big Sound event production team and played in the very first UK garage events in Finland toward the end of 90s. On Saturday, Alimo will be throwing down a killer vinyl set of some choice 90s drum and bass selected by a true originator.

If you want a heavy dose of amens and reese roughness, from the early 90s right through to more recent generation of soundsystem-continuum sounds, this event is for you! Helsinki unite!
